Welcome to our website, where I share my incredible journey of determination, resilience, and empowerment.
Originally from Afghanistan, I embarked on a transformative path by completing my high school education and securing a place in medical school. However, life had more surprises in store for me, as I soon found love and got engaged, leading me to the United States—a land of opportunities and diversity.
Embracing my roles as a student, wife, and mother, I was blessed with three beautiful children who enriched my life and strengthened my passion for advocating women’s and girls’ rights. Through my experiences and challenges, I realized the transformative power of education, and it became my mission to become a catalyst for change, especially for women and girls.
My journey has led me to a profound realization: I want to channel my passion and knowledge as an advocate and teacher for women’s and girls’ rights. By empowering them with education, I believe we can break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a more inclusive society.
This website serves as a platform for me to share my insights, advocacy work, and experiences as I take on this noble mission. Join me in celebrating the importance of education as a tool for liberation, equality, and empowerment.
As a teacher, I am dedicated to nurturing the minds and spirits of young women and girls, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence needed to pursue their dreams fearlessly. Together, we will build a supportive and empowering community, where each individual can thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

FACULTY DIRECTOR IN AFGHANISTAN
I am Shabnam Mehrabi and I currently reside in Afghanistan.
Although I have encountered many obstacles, I have achieved significant milestones as a woman in Afghanistan.
I have a high school education, a midwife degree, and two years of ultrasound training.
Despite the recent difficulties faced in my homeland due to the closure of schools and restrictions on women’s education and work opportunities, I am committed to making a difference.
As a dedicated stay-at-home mom to my beautiful son, I believe in the transformative power of education, especially for girls and women.
